Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to read our reviews and compare software, including people who use assistive technology.
Our commitment
SaaS in the City is committed to making this website accessible to people with disabilities. We design, build, and test the site with accessibility in mind, and we treat accessibility problems as bugs to fix.
The standard we follow
Our goal is for saasinthecity.com to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have motor, cognitive, or learning disabilities.
What we have done
- Text and interface elements meet WCAG AA color contrast ratios.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a skip link that jumps straight to the main content.
- Menus, panels, and buttons use standard HTML controls with clear labels for screen readers.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Headings follow a logical order, and each page has a single main heading.
- Links inside articles are underlined, so they do not rely on color alone.
- Moving content, such as the rotating cover story and the logo strip, has a pause button and stays still for visitors who set their device to reduce motion.
- Wide comparison tables can be scrolled with the keyboard.
- Forms label every field and confirm when a message is sent.
- The layout reflows for small screens and supports browser zoom up to 200 percent.
How we test
We check every page with automated accessibility testing at desktop and mobile screen sizes, and we review key pages by hand for keyboard use, focus order, and color contrast. We repeat these checks when we change the site design and when we publish new content.
Known limitations
Our articles link to software vendor websites. We do not control those sites and cannot guarantee that they are accessible. If you find a barrier on our own pages, we want to hear about it.
Feedback and help
If you have trouble using any part of this site, or you need information in a different format, email us at editorial@saasinthecity.com or use our contact form. Tell us the page address and the problem you ran into, and we will reply by email.
